Composition characteristics
Silicon content: Silicon (Si) content is usually between 4.5%-6.0%. The addition of silicon can reduce the melting point of the welding wire, improve fluidity and thermal cracking resistance.
Other elements: Iron (Fe) content is generally controlled at ≤0.8%, and there are a small amount of copper (Cu), magnesium (Mg) and other elements. The content of these elements is strictly controlled to ensure the performance of the welding wire, and aluminum (Al) is the balance.
